Well-known journalist and Russian music critic Sergei Sosedov revealed how much he spends on utility bills. He also demanded from the utilities to tell where the funds allocated for the overhaul are going. This is reported by the iReactor edition.
Neighbors lives with his mother in a two-room apartment in a 16-storey building. According to the critic, they use electricity, not gas, and pay more than four thousand rubles for housing and communal services. The journalist noted that the amount of the payment is increasing every year, but he called this process normal.
The critic was dissatisfied with payments for major repairs and noted that at the entrance of his apartment building blows from the windows.
“I called the Criminal Code, and they told me that nothing can be done. It comes through our windows, and they put foam rubber there, just like in Soviet times. The house is 85, and what we are promised is a vague prospect. This is a trick, it seems to me, we are being deceived with him, and the money goes in the wrong direction. Let the Criminal Code answer us and tell the truth where the amounts are going and when they will make a major overhaul to us,”Sosedov said.
Earlier in February, music producer Iosif Prigozhin spoke about spending on housing and communal services. Every month he pays about 70 thousand rubles for a communal apartment, 20 of which are used for electricity. The producer also contributes more than seven thousand rubles for cleaning the territory and the Internet.
