TV presenter Anfisa Chekhova remembered how she faced domestic violence. She wrote a post about this on Instagram.
Chekhova said that she came to the emergency room with beatings from her beloved man. She got them when she told her lover that she was leaving. According to the TV presenter, even in the emergency room she faced misunderstanding and condemnation.
"So, in the same emergency room, the nurse, who was filming the beatings, told me the phrase:" It is her own fault! What did you do that he beat you up like that? "- she wrote in her post.
Below Chekhova discussed the situation that happened with Regina Todorenko. She is sure that her colleague said these words without thinking. She also supported the words that the victim is not to blame and said that most women who are faced with a similar problem need compassion, not condemnation.
"Victims faced with cruelty from their loved ones experience the greatest pain within themselves! When with each blow your Fairy Tale collapses, your Happiness, your Faith in Love and Trust in Men! And, to be honest, only one question is spinning in my head: “For what?” Yes, we ourselves asked ourselves this question: “What did I deserve? What did I do wrong? "Victims of beatings, even when they are beaten, manage to feel guilty."
