The winner of the Miss Moscow beauty pageant, Alesya Semerenko, who was stripped of her title, returned the damaged crown to the organizers. This was announced by the director of the competition, Tatyana Andreeva, in an interview with Komsomolskaya Pravda.
“I barely managed to take the crown away from her. It is broken and needs to be repaired. The crown is expensive: made of silver with gilding, with semiprecious stones,”she explained.
Andreeva named the reasons for this decision. According to her, the girl did not fulfill her obligations. “The winner of the competition participates in many events throughout the year, most of them are charitable. And for three months after the competition, she did not come to one. It is impossible to get through to her, she is always unavailable. And if we call, she is still sick, feeling bad. At the same time, she leads an active social life on Instagram, said the director of Miss Moscow.
The organizer added that the headquarters wanted to exclude Semerenko, since she almost did not go to rehearsals, did not study with the choreographer. But in the end they left. “The girl is beautiful. Not kicked out. And the jury chose her. Pretty and pretty. But it is important that there is something else attached to beauty. And when you don't give a damn about everything except beauty, it becomes unpleasant,”Andreeva noted.
Semerenko herself in her Instagram stated that she did not break the crown, and no one invited her to events.
The deprivation of Semerenko's title was reported on March 21. This happened for the first time in the history of the competition.
