“We met at the theater. All this happened in Leningrad then. At the Lenin Komsomol Theater. We played a love couple in one of the performances. She was extraordinarily beautiful. I was married. My wife Tamara and I had a child and a daughter. Tamara and I were together at that time for six or seven years. Alla was married to the goalkeeper of the football team. I had no reason to tell my wife that I could no longer live with her. It was excruciating and incredibly sad."
As the actor said, their romance with Balter was rapid.
“When I started communicating with Allochka, I just could not breathe. Everything beat me. I have never felt such a feeling for a woman. I tried to drown out the feeling. I am not making excuses for myself. But I left my family. Tamara didn't deserve my leaving, but it happened. I was condemned. He left the family, from the child. Alla was called a homeless woman. I understood the injustice towards Tamara. But I had to leave,”
