She admitted to Glamor TV that her parents were very conservative people and wanted her daughter to become a concertmaster or conductor of an orchestra of folk instruments, or at worst a choir. They sent her to a music school to learn to play the button accordion, in memory of her grandfather. But, according to the artist, she could not be forced to do anything.
At the age of 16, Lyubov realized that she was already perceived as a professional singer, and she could work in restaurants. To fulfill her dream, she ran away from home (the family lived in Kiev), leaving a note to her father not to contact the police.
Later she wrote to him that she works in a restaurant in Kislovodsk. Dad immediately went to pick up Love and could disrupt her performance. But that evening, the owner of the establishment "hurried in advance" and informed all the guests in advance that the father of their star singer had arrived. All those present wanted to treat dad, and by the time his daughter went on stage, he was already "tipsy". As a result, the father changed his anger to mercy and allowed Lyubov to work as a singer. To do this, however, the girl had to promise that she would keep her honor and would not disgrace the family.
During her life, Ouspenskaya made a dizzying career, recorded many albums, and received several Chanson of the Year awards. Although the artist does not classify herself as a chanson, she says that her compositions are just soulful songs.
