The criminal world of Russia since the dashing 90s could boast of truly attractive women. The plot about the relationship of a daring bandit and a spectacular model was popular not only on television, but also in real life. In the mid-90s, high school students shocked sociologists, claiming that they saw their ideal future as marriage with crime bosses.
Some were driven by a thirst for adventure and thrill into dangerous ties with bandits, while others were driven by the desire for money and new opportunities. Alas, in most cases, the family relationships of these adventurers did not work out. And some even died untimely along with their chosen ones. The rare happy exceptions only confirm this sad rule. Lenta.ru recalled stories about how beauty queens linked their fates with crime bosses.

Solonik was one of the main killers of the 90s and became famous for being the first to escape from the Matrosskaya Tishina pre-trial detention center.
In 1997, Solonik settled in a villa in Greece - and lived there with Kotova. The 20-year-old girl had a brilliant career and a contract with the modeling agency Red Stars, but Kotova, without hesitation, dropped everything and moved to her lover. From Greece, the girl planned to fly to a beauty contest in Italy. But Kotova did not take into account that Sasha the Macedonian in Europe was hiding not only from the Russian investigation, but also from enemies from the criminal world.
The bosses of the Orekhovo-Medvedkovskaya organized criminal group considered that their killer had become dangerous for them - and sent them to the villa to the Macedonian brigade of liquidators.
