Scientists at the American company Knome, which studies the human genome, have determined that British rock musician Ozzy Osbourne is a genetic mutant. This is reported by the New York Post, citing a book by Indiana Medical College professor Bill Sullivan.

The contractor was invited for research in 2010. Experts believed that it was no coincidence that the rocker managed to live to old age, despite the regular excessive use of drugs and alcohol.

According to Sullivan, scientists did find a mutation in Osborne's genes. Experts believe that it was because of this that the musician had a penchant for such bad habits.

"Ozzy is definitely a genetic mutant," said the author of the book. According to him, in the genes of people there are different predispositions - love for sweets, coffee, or even for certain sexual and political preferences.

“After so many years we thought we were thinking independently and freely, we realized that most, if not all, of our behavior does not happen of our own free will,” Sullivan said.

In April, Ozzy Osbourne canceled his 2019 world tour due to injury and postponed all concerts to the following year. Then Osborne fell at his home in Los Angeles.
