Writer Dmitry Bykov in an interview with the radio station "Echo of Moscow" spoke about the fatal accident, the culprit of which was the famous actor Mikhail Efremov, who was drunk at the wheel.
Bykov expressed his sympathy for the family of the deceased Sergei Zakharov, but at the same time noted that Efremov is now also having an extremely difficult time:
“Already now it is quite obvious, although there will be an investigation and before the court's decision no one should be called a murderer, it is already quite obvious that the worst happened to Mikhail Efremov that could ever happen to him. The fate of Sergei Zakharov, the victim of this incident, is terrible."
The writer also stressed that "there can be no attempts to soften the fate of Efremov":
"He himself will not accept such attempts to soften it, because, as far as I understand, he himself is absolutely crushed, and everyone who loved and loves him is crushed."
According to Bykov, despite what happened, he will not turn away from his comrade:
“I am proud that I worked with Efremov. Efremov - before this happened - was one of the most beloved and famous actors in the country and one of the most worthy actors."
The writer recalled that now Efremov is condemned by everyone around him. However, he himself punishes himself more than anyone else:
"I know that now he is executing himself in a way that no hooting crowd can execute him."
The author urged people to be more lenient and wait for the results of the psychiatric examination of the actor.
We will remind, earlier "Rambler" reported that Bonya announced the "salvation of the soul" of Efremov after a fatal accident.
