The first cerebral hemorrhage occurred after filming for the first season of Game of Thrones. It happened to Emilia during a training session with a personal trainer. MRI showed subarachnoid hemorrhage, which is a life-threatening form of stroke. Doctors warned Clarke that another aneurysm could burst at any moment. To avoid a rupture, Clark underwent an operation that was unsuccessful - and the doctors had to operate on it again.
