The 43-year-old TV presenter never hid that she was addicted to illegal drugs for many years. Dana Borisova admitted that she began to kiss the bottle due to the fact that several years ago she was transferred from TV presenters to secular correspondents. Depression, which covered Dana due to career failure, forced her to drown the pain with alcohol.
- I remember that at that moment I was covered by my problem with weight, - Dana admitted in the program "Based on real events" (NTV). - I gained a lot on the basis of alcohol.
The TV presenter began to mix antidepressants with alcohol and more and more often end up in the cells of colleagues in an obscene form. It was at that moment that a PR man, Tim Brick, appeared in her life, who suggested that she take diet pills that contained amphetamine. And then, according to her mom, Dana started sniffing cocaine.
- I was a small child and did not understand what alcohol and drugs are, - says the daughter of TV presenter Polina Aksenova. - But I understood that something was wrong with my mother. I was nine years old at that time, I did not attend school at all, there were only six months of visits, in my opinion, because my mother did not care … I ate absolutely wrong, because my mother did not buy me anything.
The fallen angel of Central Television, as Dana is jokingly called, brought herself to a state where phobias began and a complete loss of connection with reality. She could not leave the house for weeks and, according to her own words, many times she had to die of an overdose, which, in fact, happened to her friend Brik.
“She felt bad both physically and psychologically, she even said that she would throw herself off the 13th floor,” said Borisova’s mother. - She developed swelling, friability, and only then I realized what a terrible danger she was in.
In a drug frenzy, Dana married a man who supplied her with illegal substances, and then suddenly began to let unfamiliar men into her apartment and make love to them. It took Dana several years to tie up with a vicious past. She told about her terrible experience in the book "High Life".
