Alexander was born in Minsk. His parents were also musicians - dad is a violinist, and mom is a pianist. In the 90s, the whole family moved to Norway as my father was offered a prestigious job in this country.
From childhood, Alexander was interested in music. He graduated from a music school and entered the conservatory. After a while, Rybak became a vocalist in popular musicals. He has traveled to many countries on tour. Not only participation, but also victory at Eurovision made Alexander Rybak famous all over the world.
After the competition, the singer released his first solo album, which was a success. They began to offer him participation in many popular shows and also go on tour in Russia. Alexander Rybak released his last album in 2012, and in 2015 he recorded a new song - "Kitty".
Now Alexander writes songs for other popular performers, sometimes takes part in television programs. His last striking appearance happened in the program "One to One!". The artist reached the final and took second place.
At the end of 2019, Alexander premiered his own musical "Troll" based on his book of the same name.
