Today 54-year-old Taisiya Povaliy and her husband, 57-year-old Igor Likhuta, are celebrating their silver wedding. The singer and producer were married 25 years ago - December 31, 1993. Taisiya admits that the secret of their family happiness lies in the fact that they are always together, they have common goals and one hobby for two - music.
“We know where we are going. And for many years now, hand in hand, we have been moving forward, without fear and doubt,”the singer shared in an interview with“Interlocutor”. For the sake of Igor, Taisia left her first husband, from whom she gave birth to a son, Denis: the couple lived in marriage for 11 years.
It was Igor who believed in Taisia's talent: he began working with her as a producer and made her a star.
Looking back, the singer regrets only one thing: she and Igor have no children in common. Taisiya admits that she and her husband could raise three children, but it was decided to have an abortion. “Everything must be done in due time. God gave Igor and me children. But then we still lived in a rented apartment and did not understand what awaited us. We could have had three. But we were afraid and sinned,”said the star.
